Throttle Valve Potentiometer, Multec (MY 2000) Opel Corsa B

Note. This operation does not apply to Corsa-B.

Objective:

Checking the electrical and mechanical functions.

Measurement:

Plot of voltage at the signal output of the potentiometer.

Preparation:

Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 3 (C) of the connection plug on the throttle valve potentiometer. Connect the ground lead to pin 2 (B).

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download the reference curve.
  2. 2. Switch on the ignition.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the limit stop and then release it again.
