Flywheel
In Model Year 1994, all 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre OHC petrol engines will be fitted with the larger fiat flywheel from the C 16 NZ engine. This gives the following advantages:
- Use of one uniform cylinder block
- Improved running smoothness and reduced transmission rattle due to increased moment of inertia
From the outside, the installation of the larger flywheel can be recognized from the modified flange on the cylinder block near the starter mount (arrow).
