Remove
Important. Before removing the stop start system control module, perform the following procedure. Record the "Starter Drive Counter" displayed on Data List of Tech 2.
- 1. Download data from stop start system control module using Tech 2 • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F4: BODY • Select Stop Start Control Module • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program • Turn off Tech 2; then disconnect from diagnostic socket
- 2. Remove glove compartment (1) from instrument panel • Open glove compartment • Press 2x side panel inwards, then release from 2x locator (2)
- 3. Remove stop start system control module (1) from bracket • Remove 2x nut (2) • Disconnect harness connector (3)
Install
- 4. Install stop start system control module (1) to bracket • Connect harness connector (3) • Install 2x nut (2) 11 Nm
- 5. Install glove compartment (1) to instrument panel • Push into 2x locator (2) • Press 2x side panel inwards, then secure to instrument panel • Close glove compartment
- 6. Program stop start system control module • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F4: BODY • Select Stop Start Control Module • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program • Turn off Tech 2; then disconnect from diagnostic socket
