Battery Tray Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

1. 1. Remove battery from vehicle • Disconnect battery negative lead (2) – Release nut • Disconnect battery positive lead – Release cover (1) – Release nut • Release coolant expansion tank (3) from battery tray – Slide off, then move to one side • Remove bracket (4) from battery tray – Remove bolt

2. 2. Disconnect 2x harness connector from engine control module (ECM) • Push in 2x lock, then release 2x clip (1)

3. 3. Remove battery tray (1) with ECM from chassis and transmission mounting assembly • Remove 4x bolt

4. 4. Remove ECM from battery tray • Remove 4x bolt

Install

5. 5. Install ECM to new battery tray • Install 4x bolt 10 Nm
6. 6. Install battery tray (1) with ECM to chassis and transmission mounting assembly • Install 4x bolt

7. 7. Connect 2x harness connector to ECM • Push on, then secure 2x clip (1)

8. 8. Install battery to vehicle • Install bracket (4) to battery tray – Install bolt • Secure coolant expansion tank (3) to battery tray – Slide on • Connect battery positive lead – Secure nut 11 Nm – Secure cover (1) • Connect battery negative lead (2) – Secure nut 11 Nm

9. 9. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
