Remove
- 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
- 2. Remove glove compartment (1) from instrument panel • Open glove compartment • Press 2x side panel inwards, then release from 2x locator (2)
- 3. Disconnect 2x harness connector from transmission control module
- 4. Remove transmission control module (1) with support bracket from vehicle • Remove 2x nut (2)
- 5. Remove support bracket from transmission control module • Remove 2x bolt
Install
- 6. Install support bracket to new transmission control module (1) • Install 2x bolt
- 7. Install transmission control module with support bracket to vehicle • Install 2x nut (2)
- 8. Connect 2x harness connector to transmission control module
- 9. Install glove compartment (1) to instrument panel • Push into 2x locator (2) • Press 2x side panel inwards, then secure to instrument panel • Close glove compartment
- 10. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
- 11. Program transmission control module (TCM) • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F2: TRANSMISSION • Select TCM (Transmission Control Module) • Turn "ON" Ignition and press Confirm • Select F4: PROGRAMMING • Select F0: Reset Learned Values • Select Reset • Select Confirm • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program
- 12. Turn off Tech 2; then remove from vehicle • Disconnect Tech 2 from diagnostic socket
- 13. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
