Warning: If the stop start (ENG A-STOP OFF) switch is left in the 'ON' position, the engine may start accidentally and injury may be sustained should any part of your body or clothing be caught in rotating components. When servicing the stop start model, always make sure that the stop start switch is in the 'OFF' position unless otherwise instructed in this service manual.
Important: If the battery is charged with an external power source while still connected to the vehicle, then the battery negative cable should be disconnected for approximately 5 seconds after charging.
