Alternator Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
2. 2. Raise vehicle
3. 3. Remove right engine splash guard • Remove 2x bolt, 4x clip
4. 4. Remove ribbed V-belt (1) from engine • Rotate tension roller clockwise, then lock using Locating Pin KM-6130 (2)

5. 5. Remove alternator from vehicle • Remove 3x bolt (3) • Disconnect wiring harness (4) – Remove nut (1, 2)

Install

6. 6. Install new alternator to vehicle • Connect wiring harness (4) – Install nut (1) 10 Nm , (2) 4.0 Nm • Install 3x bolt (3) 20 Nm

7. 7. Install ribbed V-belt (1) to engine • Rotate tension roller clockwise, then remove Locating Pin KM-6130 (2)

8. 8. Install splash shield, right side • Install 4x clip, 2x bolt
9. 9. Lower vehicle
10. 10. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
11. 11. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
