Fuel Distribution Pipe Replacement Opel Agila B

Engine Control and Fuel System - K10B ~467 words

Remove

  1. 1. Relieve fuel pressure – see operation “Fuel System Depressurise”
  2. 2. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
  3. 3. Remove air cleaner resonator from air intake hose (1) and bracket (2) • Release air cleaner resonator from air intake hose – For K10B engine, release 2x clip – For K12B engine, release clip • Remove air cleaner resonator from bracket – Release 2x rubber locator
  1. 4. Release air cleaner assembly (1) from cylinder head cover • Pull off to release 2x rubber locator • Remove cover and air cleaner element from air cleaner assembly – Release 2x clip (2), 2x locator
  1. 5. For K12B engine, disconnect 4x harness connector (1) from 4x fuel injector
  2. 6. For K10B engine, disconnect 3x harness connector from 3x fuel injector
  3. 7. Release engine harness from fuel distribution pipe • Release 2x clip
  1. 8. Disconnect fuel hose (2) from fuel distribution pipe • Release clip • Install 2x blanking plug
  2. 9. Remove fuel distribution pipe from cylinder head • Remove 2x nut (1)
  3. 10. For K12B engine, remove 4x fuel injector (3) from fuel distribution pipe • Pull out
  4. 11. For K12B engine, remove 4x seal (4) from 4x fuel injector
  5. 12. For K10B engine, remove 3x fuel injector from fuel distribution pipe • Pull out
  6. 13. For K10B engine, remove 3x seal from 3x fuel injector

Install

  1. 14. For K12B engine, install 4x new seal (4) to 4x fuel injector (3)
  2. 15. For K12B engine, install 4x fuel injector to new fuel distribution pipe • Push in
  3. 16. For K10B engine, install 3x new seal to 3x fuel injector
  4. 17. For K10B engine, install 3x fuel injector to fuel distribution pipe • Push in
  5. 18. Install fuel distribution pipe to cylinder head • Install 2x nut (1) 25 Nm
  6. 19. Connect fuel hose (2) to fuel distribution pipe • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip
  1. 20. Secure engine harness to fuel distribution pipe • Secure 2x clip
  2. 21. For K12B engine, connect 4x harness connector (1) to 4x fuel injector
  3. 22. For K10B engine, connect 3x harness connector to 3x fuel injector
  1. 23. Install air cleaner element and cover to air cleaner assembly (1) • Secure cover to air cleaner assembly – Secure 2x locator, then secure 2x clip (2)
  2. 24. Secure air cleaner assembly to cylinder head cover • Push on to secure 2x rubber locator
  1. 25. Install air cleaner resonator to air intake hose (1) and bracket (2) • Install air cleaner resonator to bracket – Secure 2x rubber locator • Secure air cleaner resonator to air intake hose – For K10B engine, secure 2x clip – For K12B engine, secure clip
  1. 26. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  2. 27. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
