Fuel Feed or Return Pipe Replacement - Chassis Opel Agila B

Engine Control and Fuel System - K10B ~606 words

Remove

  1. 1. Relieve fuel pressure – see operation “Fuel System Depressurise”
  2. 2. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
  3. 3. For left drive vehicles, disconnect 2x fuel evaporation pipe assembly (2) from active carbon canister (3) • Release 2x clip (1) • Install 4x new blanking plug
  1. 4. For left drive vehicles, disconnect fuel evaporation pipe assembly from air suction filter • Release clip (1) • Install 2x new blanking plug
  2. 5. For left drive vehicles, release fuel evaporation pipe assembly from vehicle body • Release from 2x clip
  3. 6. For left drive vehicles, disconnect fuel evaporation hose from fuel evaporation pipe • Release clip (2) • Install 2x new blanking plug
  4. 7. For left drive vehicles, remove fuel evaporation pipe assembly from vehicle • Remove 2x nut (3)
  1. 8. For left drive vehicles, remove 3x hose from fuel evaporation pipe assembly • Release 3x clip (1) • Install 6x new blanking plug
  1. 9. For right drive vehicles, release fuel evaporation hose (1) from fuel feed hose • Release clip (5)
  2. 10. Release fuel feed pipe and fuel evaporation pipe from vehicle body • Release from clip (3)
  3. 11. Disconnect fuel evaporation hose from fuel evaporation pipe • Release clip (2) • Install 2x new blanking plug
  4. 12. Disconnect fuel feed hose from fuel feed pipe • Place collecting container below • Release clip (4) • Install 2x new blanking plug
  1. 13. Raise vehicle
  2. 14. Disconnect fuel tank feed pipe (1) from fuel feed pipe (2) • Place collecting container below • Release integral clip – Use Remover KM-796-A • Install 2x new blanking plug
  3. 15. Disconnect fuel tank evaporation pipe (5) from fuel evaporation pipe (4) • Release integral clip – Use Remover KM-796-A • Install 2x new blanking plug
  4. 16. Remove fuel feed pipe and fuel evaporation pipe from vehicle body • Release from 5x clip (3)

Install

  1. 17. Install new fuel feed pipe and new fuel evaporation pipe to vehicle body • Secure to 5x clip (3)
  2. 18. Connect fuel tank feed pipe (1) to fuel feed pipe (2) • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure integral clip
  3. 19. Connect fuel tank evaporation pipe (5) to fuel evaporation pipe (4) • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure integral clip
  1. 20. Lower vehicle
  2. 21. Connect fuel feed hose to fuel feed pipe • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip (4)
  3. 22. Connect fuel evaporation hose to fuel evaporation pipe • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip (2)
  4. 23. Secure fuel feed pipe and fuel evaporation pipe to vehicle body • Secure to clip (3)
  5. 24. For right drive vehicles, secure fuel evaporation hose (1) to fuel feed hose • Secure clip (5)
  1. 25. For left drive vehicles, install 3x hose to new fuel evaporation pipe assembly • Remove 6x blanking plug • Secure 3x clip (1)
  1. 26. For left drive vehicles, install fuel evaporation pipe assembly to vehicle • Install 2x nut (3)
  2. 27. For left drive vehicles, connect fuel evaporation hose to fuel evaporation pipe • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip (2)
  3. 28. For left drive vehicles, secure fuel evaporation pipe assembly to vehicle body • Secure to 2x clip
  4. 29. For left drive vehicles, connect fuel evaporation pipe assembly to air suction filter • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip (1)
  1. 30. For left drive vehicles, connect 2x fuel evaporation pipe assembly (2) to active carbon canister (3) • Remove 4x blanking plug • Secure 2x clip (1)
  1. 31. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  2. 32. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
