Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement Opel Agila B

Engine Control and Fuel System - K10B

Remove

1. Remove alternator from vehicle – see operation 'Alternator Replacement'
2. Remove crankshaft position (CKP) sensor from cylinder block • Disconnect harness connector (1) • Remove bolt (2)
3. Remove O ring from CKP sensor • Prise off

Install

4. Install new O ring to CKP sensor • Apply suitable lubricant to O ring, then slide on
5. Install new CKP sensor to cylinder block • Recut bolt thread and apply suitable locking compound • Install bolt (2) 11 Nm • Connect harness connector (1)

6. Install alternator to vehicle – see operation 'Alternator Replacement'
