Measure

Remove

1. 1. Detach oil intake pipe (3) • Unscrew 2x bolt (1) • Remove gasket (2)

2. 2. Detach oil pump cover (2) • Unscrew 5 bolts (1) • Remove inner (3) and outer rotor (4) • Visually inspect components

3. 3. Check pump module • Insert inner and outer rotor • (I) Check radial play between oil pump housing and outer rotor with feeler gauge – Permissible play is 0.10 – 0.23 mm • (II) Check axial play between mating face of oil pump cover and top of toothed gear using straightedge and feeler gauge – Permissible play is 0.050 – 0.075 mm

Install

4. 4. Attach oil pump cover • Tighten 5x bolt 6 Nm
5. 5. Attach oil intake pipe • Insert new gasket • Tighten 2x bolt 6 Nm
