Check Engine Oil Pressure Opel Agila A

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Loosen nut
  3. 3. Detach charge air hose from air cleaner housing • Loosen clamp
  4. 4. Place collecting basin underneath.
  5. 5. Remove oil pressure sensor (1) • Disconnect wiring harness plug • Unscrew oil pressure sensor
  1. 6. Attach KM-498-B with adapter KM-135
  1. 7. Connect battery • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nut 5.5 Nm
  2. 8. Check engine oil pressure • Start engine • Switch off engine

Note. Oil pressure should be approx. 140 kPa ( 1.4 bar ) when idling with the engine at operating temperature.

  1. 9. Disconnect battery • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Loosen nut
  2. 10. Detach KM-498-B and KM-135

Install

  1. 11. Install oil pressure sensor • Tighten oil pressure sensor 32 Nm • Connect wiring harness plug
  2. 12. Attach charge air hose to air cleaner housing • Tighten clamp 3,5 Nm
  3. 13. Connect battery • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nut 5.5 Nm
  4. 14. Program volatile memories
  5. 15. Close bonnet.
