DTC P1335 - CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR (REF) Nissan Maxima A32

Testing & Diagnostics 1 illustration ~148 words
  1. Check Input Signal Circuit To ECM Turn ignition off. Disconnect CKP sensor (REF) sub-harness connector and ECM harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between sub-harness connector terminal No. 1 (White wire) and ECM harness connector terminals No. 44 and 48. If no continuity exists, repair open in White wire. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  2. Check Sub-Harness Ground Circuit Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between sub-harness connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire) and engine ground. If no continuity exists, repair open in Black wire. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  3. Check Component Remove CKP sensor (REF). Check crankshaft pulley for chipping. Repair or replace if required. Measure resistance between sensor terminals. If 470-570 ohms are not present, replace sensor. If resistance is not as specified, disconnect and reconnect harness connectors in circuit and retest system.
