DTC P0135 - FRONT RIGHT HO2S HEATER Nissan Maxima A32

  1. Check Ground Circuit Turn ignition off. Disconnect HO2S harness connector and ECM harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between ECM harness connector terminal No. 119 and HO2S harness connector terminal No. 1 (Blue/Yellow wire). If no continuity exists, repair open in Blue/Yellow wire. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  2. Check Power Supply Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between HO2S harness connector terminal No. 3 (Red/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage does not exist, check for blown fuse No. 34 or fault in Red/Black wire. Repair or replace as required. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
  3. Check Component Turn ignition off. Leave front HO2S wiring harness disconnected. Measure resistance between outer terminals. Resistance should be 2.3-4.3 ohms at 77°F (25°C). Check for continuity between both outer terminals and center terminal. Continuity should not be present. Replace HO2S if continuity is not as specified. If HO2S is okay, go to next step.
  4. Loosen and retighten engine ground screws. Disconnect ECM and HO2S wiring harness connector. Check terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair if necessary and perform «FINAL CHECK»(ref-17943-S12355810372001121700000) . If fault is still present, replace front right HO2S.
