Vacuum Pump
In all direct injection vehicles for Model Year '98, the brake servo vacuum pipe connection is no longer bolted to the vacuum pump (1), but is now fastened with a type of quick fastening (2). Special service tools are not required to release the fastening, as pressing against the retaining lug with the thumb is enough to separate the vacuum pipe from the vacuum pump.
