In V6 DOHC petrol engines, the engine number was previously positioned as shown in illustration F 0409, position 1.
To ensure clearer legibility of the engine number for all V6 DOHC petrol engines, the number is moved to the vertical surface of the transmission fastening flange (2) as of Model Year 1995.
