How to Replace the Oil Filter Opel Astra G

Remove

Remove lower engine compartment cover – see operation "Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Remove oil filter with KM-726-A (1) – place collecting basin underneath.

Install

Fill oil filter with engine oil and lubricate seal ring.

Attach oil filter to thermostat housing (engine oil cooling) – tightening torque – 15 Nm / 11 lbf. ft.

Install lower engine compartment cover – see operation "Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
