Valves Stem Seals Installing (head Installed) Audi A6 C5

1. Slide plastic sleeve (A) supplied over relevant valve stem. This will prevent the new valve stem seal (B) from being damaged. see scheme 98
2. Place new valve stem seal into installation tool (3365).
3. Oil valve stem seal sealing lip and press carefully onto the valve guide. see scheme 98 To assemble, reverse removal procedures. CAUTION: DO NOT start engine for about 30 minutes after installing camshafts. Hydraulic valve lifters must bleed down or valves may strike pistons. Rotate crankshaft by hand 2 full revolutions before starting engine to ensure valves do not strike pistons.
