- Disconnect any wiring harness that attach to the front bumper.
- Raise vehicle, remove front tires. Remove lower front engine shield (noise insulator). see scheme 8 Loosen the front half of the wheel housing splash shield (liner). (Scheme 16) Unscrew flange nut (10) on both sides. (Scheme 18)
- Unscrew with/washer assembly (6) from wheel housing liner (5). (Scheme 18) Remove socket-head bolts (7) and remove bumper cover together with impact absorbor towards front. (Scheme 18) To move lock carrier into service position. See «LOCK CARRIER»(ref-147486-S40535456302002091600000).
