Removal & Installation Acura SLX I

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove timing belt. See «TIMING BELT»(ref-49505-S12092104192001011500000). Remove idler pulley. Remove water pump bolts, water pump and gasket.
2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure gasket surfaces are clean. Tighten water pump bolts in sequence to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-49505-S22979059872001011500000). (Scheme 14) Fill cooling system and check system for leaks.
