Erasing DTCs And Resetting Adaptive Functions
It is important that DTCs are erased and adaptive functions are reset when the ECM is replaced or when work involves DTCs 2-3-1, 2-3-2 and 2-3-3, otherwise car may run poorly despite absence of faults.
Note. If using the ECM from another car, DTCs (if any) must be erased and adaptive functions reset before ECM is reinstalled in car.
Installing fluid reservoir
- Install the reservoir in reverse order
- Remove the paper over the generator (GEN)
- Top up with oil. For the correct oil quality, see relevant specifications.
