Seal Ring - Oil Pump, Replace
Remove toothed belt - see operation "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install".
Unbolt toothed belt gear from oil pump (see illus. I). For this, place socket wrench on housing bolts and lock toothed belt gear.
Make hole in centre of waved seal ring, screw in self-tapping screw and edge out with pliers (see illus. II).
Do not damage oil pump housing.
Install oil pump seal ring. For this, coat seal lip with silicone grease (white) and drive into oil pump cover with KM-657.
Install toothed belt gear on oil pump shaft - 50 Nm / 37 lbf. ft. (see illus. I). Place socket wrench on housing bolt and lock toothed belt gear.
