Valves, Remove and Install
Tension valve springs with Spring Compressor KM-348 (2) and Adapter KM-653-A (1) and remove valve keepers.
Remove valve spring with valve spring cap.
Remove valves. Remove valve spring seat using rod magnet. Remove valve stem seal using commercially available special pliers.
Assemble cylinder head. Align alignment ball on swirl chamber to groove in cylinder head.
Place an approx. 25 mm/1 in. thick metal disc on the swirl chamber and press in swirl chamber.
Do not exceed pressure of 28000 N, as this will damage the cylinder head!
Remove protruding swirl chamber material with a sander.
After sanding, swirl chambers must neither protrude nor be indented.
Check swirl chamber for firm seating by striking lightly with hammer.
