  1. 1. Remove timing chain cover – see operation “”Timing Chain Cover and Oil Pump Assembly Replacement”
  2. 2. Remove timing chain tensioner (1) from engine • Release tension from timing chain – Lock tensioner using Locking Pin KM-955 • Remove 2x bolt
  3. 3. Remove timing chain tensioner rail (3) from engine • Remove bolt
  4. 4. Remove timing chain guide rail (2) from engine • Remove 2x bolt
  1. 5. Release sprocket from camshaft • Remove bolt – Counterhold camshaft sprocket with Holder KM-6347 (1) and Handle KM-956-1 (2)
  2. 6. Remove timing chain with camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket from engine
  1. 7. Remove timing chain oil spray pipe (2) from engine • Remove 2x bolt (1)

Install

  1. 8. Install new timing chain oil spray pipe (2) to engine • Install 2x bolt (1) 6 Nm
  1. 9. Install timing chain with camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket to engine
  2. 10. Secure sprocket to camshaft • Install bolt 150 Nm – Counterhold camshaft sprocket with Holder KM-6347 (1) and Handle KM-956-1 (2)
  1. 11. Install timing chain guide rail (2) to engine • Install 2x bolt 9 Nm
  2. 12. Install timing chain tensioner rail (3) to engine • Install bolt 9 Nm
  3. 13. Install timing chain tensioner (1) to engine • Install 2x bolt 9 Nm • Tension timing chain – Remove Locking Pin KM-955 from timing chain tensioner
  1. 14. Install timing chain cover – see operation “”Timing Chain Cover and Oil Pump Assembly Replacement”
