DTC P0560: SYSTEM VOLTAGE MALFUNCTION Jaguar XJR II

  1. Check 5-amp fuse F4 located in engine management fuse box. Replace, if necessary and retest system. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM harness connector EM10. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ECM harness connector EM10 terminal No. 9 (Brown/Orange wire) and ground point G100 (on XJ Series), or G105 (on XK8). See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. (Схема №3) If battery voltage exists, system is okay. If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect engine management fuse box harness connector EM20. Check continuity of Brown/Orange wire between ECM harness connector EM10 terminal No. 9 and engine management fuse box harness connector terminal No. 8. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Brown/Orange wire and retest system.
  4. Measure resistance between ground point G100 (on XJ Series), or G105 (on XK8) and ECM harness connector EM10 terminal No. 9 (Brown/Orange wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If resistance is more than 10 megohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 megohms or less, repair short to ground and retest system.
  5. Measure resistance between ground point G100 (on XJ Series), or G105 (on XK8) and engine management fuse box harness connector EM20 terminal No. 8 (Brown/Orange wire). If resistance is more than 10 megohms, system is okay. If resistance is 10 megohms or less, repair short to ground and retest system.
