DTC P0441: EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM (XK8) Jaguar XJR II

  1. Check for blocked or saturated EVAP canister. Check for restricted or damaged purge line. Ensure vacuum system is okay. Repair as necessary. If all mechanical components are okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect EVAP control valve 2-pin harness connector, located near left strut tower. Measure resistance between EVAP control valve terminals No. 1 and 2. If resistance is 25-40 ohms, reconnect harness connector and go to next step. If resistance is not 25-40 ohms, replace EVAP control valve.
  3. Disconnect ECM harness connectors EM15 and EM10. Connect jumper wire between ECM harness connector EM10 terminals No. 16 (Purple/Pink wire) and No. 23 (Black/Pink wire). (Схема №3) Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ECM harness connector EM15 terminal No. 3 (Purple/Brown wire) and ECM harness connector EM10 terminal No. 22 (Black wire.) If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, go to step 4 under «DTC P0444 & P0445: EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM PURGE VALVE (XK8)»(ref-2818-S26575007532000041300000).
  4. Measure current between ECM harness connector EM15 terminal No. 3 (Purple/Brown wire) and ECM harness connector EM10 terminal No. 22 (Black wire.) If current is.25-.64 amp, system is okay. If current is not.25-.64 amp, go to step 4 under «DTC P0444 & P0445: EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM PURGE VALVE (XK8)»(ref-2818-S26575007532000041300000).
