Scheme 178

1. Install the engine oil level sensor into the oil pan. Tighten Tighten the engine oil level sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the engine oil level sensor.
3. Fill the engine oil. Refer to «ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT»(ref-187842-S14729902812005090800000) .
4. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.

Scheme 179

1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to «OIL PAN REPLACEMENT»(ref-187842-S35853707962005090800000) .
2. Remove the oil pump pipe screen bolts.
3. Remove the oil pump screen.
4. Remove the gasket.
5. Use solvent in order to clean the screen and the housing. Blow dry the screen and the housing.
6. Clean the gasket mating surfaces.

Scheme 180

1. Install the oil pump screen gasket.
2. Install the oil pump screen. NOTE: Refer to «FASTENER NOTICE»(ref-175132-S17785009232005041500000) .
3. Install the oil pump screen bolts. Tighten Tighten the oil pump screen bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
4. Install the oil pan. Refer to «OIL PAN REPLACEMENT»(ref-187842-S35853707962005090800000) .
