- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. See «EGR VALVE»(ref-159248-S01691751432003112000000) .
- Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe. See «REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (3.8L - Outlet Pipe)»(ref-159248-S01467893862003112000000) .
- Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe mounting bolt (2) from the exhaust manifold.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the EGR valve inlet pipe bolt/nut to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-159248-S05123880852003112000000) .
