Note. Partially lowering the fuel tank, may be necessary to gain access to the EVAP canister.
Raise the vehicle. Disconnect EVAP purge pipe, vapor pipe and vent hose/pipe from the EVAP canister. Remove the EVAP canister bracket retaining nuts. Remove the canister from the EVAP canister bracket. see scheme 55
Note. Replace the retaining strap when replacing the EVAP canister.
Install the EVAP canister to the EVAP canister bracket and position the canister on the underbody. Tighten to specifications, see TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the EVAP purge pipe, vapor pipe and vent hose/pipe to the EVAP canister. Lower the vehicle.
