Connecting breakout box between control module and wiring

  1. Ignition off
  2. ECC control module connected. Check the control module and the control module connector visually according to «Check terminals visually»(ref-441291-S04910850932011121500000) Connect adapter «9813194»(ref-403953-S13746433212011061000000) (only the 30-pin connector) between the ECC control module and the climate control connector. Then connect breakout box «9813190»(ref-403953-S32930552542011061000000) to the adapter. This is connection is carried out when taking readings with the control module connected. The control module terminals 1-30 correspond to terminals 1-30 on the breakout box.

Connecting breakout box to wiring only

  1. Ignition off
  2. Disconnect the ECC control module. Check the control module and the control module connector visually according to «Check terminals visually»(ref-441291-S04910850932011121500000) Connect adapter «9813194»(ref-403953-S13746433212011061000000) (only the 30-pin connector) to the climate control system connector. Then connect breakout box «9813190»(ref-403953-S32930552542011061000000) to the adapter. The breakout box is now only connected to the climate control connector. This connection is used to measure resistance in the ECC system cables and components with the ECC control module disconnected. The control module terminals 1-30 correspond to terminals 1-30 on the breakout box.
