Check the cable between climate control unit terminal #A27 and power unit terminal #4. Check blower fan motor terminal #2 and the maximum relay for blower fan terminal #4. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Note. When the ignition is on and the blower fan is not activated, the voltage on the diagnostic cable is approximately the same as battery voltage (U bat ). The signal voltage falls with increased fan speed when the blower fan is activated.

Try a new power unit or a new blower fan relay if the cables are ok.
