Information on Octane Number Specifications
The octane numbers in bold face in the following tables indicate the factory-recommended fuels for the respective engine.
For footnotes and abbreviations, refer to the following table:
- If unleaded premium fuel is not available, use of unleaded regular fuel with 91 RON is possible if high engine loads, full load operation and hill-climbing with trailer or heavy payloads are avoided.
- When using normal fuel with 91 RON less power and engine speed loss.
- If unleaded premium fuel is not available, unleaded regular normal fuel with 91 RON may be used. The coding plug available from "Parts and Accessories" must be used for this. See following table.
