Dis Ignition Module Bracket, Remove and Install
For X 14 XE and X 16 XE: detach secondary air pump hose from combination valve.
Detach secondary air pump together with filter from secondary air pump bracket (1) and remove.
Detach wiring harness plug and high voltage cable from DIS ignition module. Detach DIS ignition module (illustration II shows C 16 XE) from DIS ignition module bracket (2). Unscrew fastening bolts for DIS ignition module bracket (3) and remove bracket from cylinder head.
Attach DIS ignition module bracket to cylinder head - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. Attach DIS ignition module to bracket - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. Attach wiring harness plug and high voltage cable to DIS ignition module.
Attach secondary air pump together with filter to secondary air pump bracket (1). Attach secondary air pump hose to combination valve.
