Replace Glow System Control Unit (Y 17 DT, with Air Conditioning, Lhd) Opel Meriva A

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground cable (1)

Important. In vehicles with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses its basic settings every time the battery is disconnected and has to be recalibrated.

3. 3. Remove battery • Detach positive cable (2) • Detach relay box • Remove battery bracket – Unscrew bolt (3)

4. 4. Remove fuel filter housing from bracket • Detach wiring harness plugs for
5. 5. Remove battery support. • Unscrew 4x bolt (1)

6. 6. Detach pre-heating system control unit • Unclip pre-heating system control unit (in direction of arrow) • Detach wiring harness plugs for

Install

7. 7. Attach pre-heating system control unit • Connect wiring harness plug • Clip in pre-heating system control unit
8. 8. Install battery carrier • Tighten 4x bolt
9. 9. Insert fuel filter housing • in bracket • Connect wiring harness plug
10. 10. Install battery • Insert battery bracket • Tighten retaining bolt • Hang relay box • Attach positive cable
11. 11. Connect battery
12. 12. Calibrate steering angle sensor • Switch ignition on

Note. Turn steering wheel once from right stop to left stop.

13. 13. Close bonnet
14. 14. Program volatile memory
