Fam. I OHC Petrol Engines
Rigid Alternator Fastening
As of Model Year 1995, a compact alternator is used in all family I engines without auxiliary aggregates.
Until now, the compact alternator was only installed in engines with auxiliary aggregates.
The alternator rigidly fastened to the cylinder block and is driven by a V-belt.
· Service
Because of the rigid alternator fastening, there is no ground cable.
