Replace Dis Ignition Module Opel Astra G

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery
3. 3. Unclip engine wiring trough (1) from cylinder head • Lay cable channel to one side
4. 4. Remove DIS ignition module wiring harness plug (2)

5. 5. Remove DIS-ignition module • Remove cover of DIS-ignition module in the direction of the arrow • 2 bolts • remove from spark plugs using KM-6009 (1)

Note. Note arrow on cover

Install

6. 6. Install DIS ignition module (1) • Replace seals (2) • KM-6009 • 2 bolts – Tightening torque 8 Nm • Fit DIS ignition module cover

Note. When installing a new DIS-ignition module it is not necessary to replace the gaskets

7. 7. Attach wiring harness plug to DIS ignition module
8. 8. Clip engine wiring trough to cylinder head
9. 9. Connect battery
10. 10. Programme transient memory
11. 11. Close bonnet
