Warning: The fuel system is under pressure. To avoid fuel spillage and the risk of personal injury or fire, it is necessary to relieve the fuel system pressure before disconnecting the fuel lines.
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel System Pressure Relief .
- Disconnect the fuel feed line from the fuel rail.
- Connect the fuel pressure gauge connector to the fuel rail.
- Connect the fuel pressure gauge connector to the fuel feed line.
- Check the fuel leakage.
- Read the fuel pressure gauge. Normal fuel pressure is in the range of 402 - 418 kPa (58.3 - 60.6 psi).
- Relieve the fuel pressure.
- Remove the fuel pressure gauge.
- Connect the fuel feed line to the fuel rail.
- Start the engine and check for the fuel leakage.
