Air Cleaner Assembly Replace

Remove

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor connector.
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the flexible air intake duct from the MAF sensor assembly.

4. Remove the air cleaner housing bolts.
5. Unclip the housing from the ball stud and then remove the air cleaner assembly.

Install

1. Install the air cleaner lower housing to the ball stud.
2. Install the air cleaner housing bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the air cleaner housing attaching bolt to 6 N•m (53 lb-in).

3. Install the air intake duct assembly.
4. Tighten the loosened clamps.
