Circuit Description
Transaxle Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor is a negative coefficient thermistor which resistance value changes based on temperature. PCM provides 5-volt reference to sensor on TFT input circuit. Low fluid temperature or open in circuits results in high signal voltage. TFT operating range is -40° to 305°F (-40° to 151°C). DTC P0713 will set if PCM detects continuous open or short to voltage on TFT input circuit.
