Automatic Transaxle Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch

Automatic Transaxle Fluid Pressure (TFP) manual valve position switch consists of 6 pressure switches. Three pressure switches are normally closed and 3 are normally open. TFP manual valve position switch is mounted to valve body. The 6 switches indicate position of manual valve. PCM uses this information to control line pressure, TCC apply and release, and shift solenoid operation. (Схема №1)

Transaxle Fluid Temperature Sensor

Transaxle Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor is a negative coefficient thermistor. When transaxle fluid is cold, sensor resistance is high. As transaxle fluid warms up, sensor resistance decreases. PCM uses TFT sensor information to control Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) apply and release, line pressure and shift timing.
