Remove
Remove charge air hoses (1) and (2) from intercooler,
Remove front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling, Remove and Install" in group "A",
Remove impact absorber – see operation "Front Member (Impact Absorber), Detach and Reattach" in group "A",
Remove fastening bolts (3) and detach intercooler from radiator,
When replacing the intercooler: reinstall necessary attaching parts,
Install
Attach intercooler to radiator,
Install front member (impact absorber) – see operation "Front Member (Impact Absorber), Replace" in group "A",
Install front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling, Remove and Install" in group "A",
Attach charging air hoses to intercooler - ensure that lug (2) engages in groove (1) - tightening torque 3.5 Nm.
