How to Remove and Install the Coolant Return Pipe Opel Zafira B

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Remove engine cover (2) • Unscrew 3 bolts (1)
3. 3. Raise lifting platform

4. 4. Remove lower engine compartment cover • Remove fastening bolts (2), (4), (5), (6), and (7) • Remove expanding rivets (1) and (3)
5. 5. Lower lifting platform
6. 6. Place collecting tray underneath

7. 7. Remove coolant return pipe (6) • 2 clamps (1) and (5) • Unclip vacuum hose (2) • Unscrew fastening bolt (3) • Unclip coolant return pipe from bracket (4)

Install

8. 8. Install coolant return pipe
9. 9. Install engine cover
10. 10. Raise lifting platform
11. 11. Fit lower engine compartment cover • Attach fastening bolts (2), (4), (5), (6) and (7) • Fit expanding rivets (1) and (3)

Note. Care must be taken during installation that the brake hose lies over the lower engine compartment cover

12. 12. Lower lifting platform
13. 13. Check coolant level, correct if necessary
14. 14. Close bonnet
