Hydraulic Valve Lifters, Basic Adjustment
Remove intake bridge (with throttle body).
See corresponding operation.
Position piston of valve lifter to be adjusted at TDC.
Loosen adjustment nut until there is some play. Tighten adjustment nut until there is no play between valve, rocker arm and valve lifter.
From this position, turn the adjustment nut one full turn further.
Install intake bridge (with throttle body).
See corresponding operation.
Note:
Basic adjustment is only possible with stationary engine.
Important:
