How to Replace (Except Stators with Permanent Magnets) the Field Winding Opel Omega B

Starter removed and disassembled.

Remove

Remove field winding. Mark installation position of pole pieces in housing. Loosen 4 pole piece screws.

Install

Install field winding. Note correct location of rubber grommet (1). Align pole piece parallel to housing and tighten.
