How to Remove and Install the Alternator Regulator Opel Omega B

Remove

1. 1. Remove alternator – see operation "Alternator, Remove and Install".
2. 2. Lever cover (1) out of alternator in direction of arrow using suitable tool (5).
3. 3. Remove sealing compound (2) and remove contact screws.
4. 4. Remove fastening nuts (3).
5. 5. Remove alternator regulator (4).

Important. Important:

6. 6. Further disassembly and assembly of the alternator is not permitted for warranty reasons.

Install

7. 7. Attach alternator regulator to alternator.
8. 8. Install contact screws.
9. 9. Apply adhesive sealing compound (black) to contact screws.
10. 10. Attach cover to alternator.
11. 11. Install alternator – see operation "Alternator, Remove and Install".
