How to Remove and Install the Starter Opel Omega B

Remove

1. 1. Remove lower engine compartment cover.
2. 2. Remove cable connections (1) and (2) from starter.
3. 3. Detach starter from transmission.

Install

4. 4. Attach starter to transmission – tightening torque 47 Nm / 35 lbf. ft .
5. 5. Attach cable connections to starter. Tightening torque: – (M6) 6.5 Nm – (M8) 15 Nm
6. 6. Install lower engine compartment cover. • Tightening torque 5 Nm
