Replace Lower Coolant Pipe Opel Corsa D

Remove

  1. 1. Remove exhaust manifold
  2. 2. Detach air intake pipe (1) from intercooler at intake manifold • Detach charge air hose – Release clamp (2) • Unscrew 4x bolts (3)

Note. On Z13DTH, detach air intake pipe from throttle valve connector

  1. 3. Detach upper coolant pipe • Release clamp (3) • Unscrew 3x bolts (1) and (2) • Remove gasket
  2. 4. Disconnect wiring harness plug for coolant temperature sensor
  3. 5. Remove 2x coolant hoses • Undo 2 clamps (1) and (2)
  1. 6. Remove lower coolant pipe (1) • Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
  1. 7. Clean sealing surface • At cylinder block

Install

  1. 8. Attach lower coolant pipe • Replace sealing ring • Insert coolant return pipe into cylinder block • Tighten 2x bolt 9 Nm

Important. Make sure the seal ring is not displaced during installation.

  1. 9. Attach upper coolant pipe • Replace gasket • Tighten 3x bolt 9 Nm • Fasten clamp
  2. 10. Attach air intake pipe of intercooler to intake manifold • Replace gasket • Tighten 4x bolts • Attach charge air hose – Attach clamp 3.5 Nm

Note. On Z13DTH, attach air intake pipe to throttle valve connector

  1. 11. Install exhaust manifold
