How to Remove and Install the Coolant Pipe Opel Corsa D

Remove

  1. 1. Remove turbocharger
  2. 2. Detach fuse holder from battery • Open cover • Detach bracket from positive terminal – Unscrew bolt (1) • Unclip fuse holder (arrows) and place aside
  1. 3. Detach positive connection from battery • Slacken nut
  2. 4. Remove battery • Loosen battery bracket (1) – Loosen bolt (2)
  1. 5. Remove battery support. • Unscrew 3x bolts (2) • Unclip pre-heating system control unit (1) – Unclip pre-heater system control unit wiring harness in 4 places (3) • Unclip wiring harness connector (4) • Unclip starter wiring harness (6) in 2 places • Unclip fuse holder wiring harness (5) • Unclip earth cable (7)
  1. 6. Detach thermostat housing coolant hose on radiator (1) from thermostat housing • Loosen clamp [74x77,5L0019353]]
  1. 7. Detach heat exchanger coolant return hose from coolant pipe (1) • Release clamp
  1. 8. Remove coolant pipe (1) • Detach coolant pipe from cylinder block – Unscrew bolt (2) • Detach coolant pipe from thermostat housing – Unscrew bolt • Draw coolant pipe out of coolant flange in direction of arrow • Unclip vacuum hose • Detach coolant pipe coolant hose on thermostat housing flange (3) from coolant pipe – Release clamp

Install

  1. 9. Install coolant pipe • Attach coolant pipe coolant hose on thermostat housing flange to coolant pipe – Fasten clamp • Clip in vacuum hose • Insert coolant pipe in coolant flange – Replace sealing ring • Attach coolant pipe to cylinder block – Tighten bolt 95 Nm • Attach coolant pipe to thermostat housing. – Tighten bolt 24 Nm
  2. 10. Attach heat exchanger coolant return hose to coolant pipe • Fasten clamp
  3. 11. Attach thermostat housing coolant hose on radiator to thermostat housing • Fasten clamp
  4. 12. Install battery holder • Clip in fuse holder wiring harness • Clip in starter wiring harness in 2 places • Clip in wiring harness plug • Clip in pre-heating system control unit – Clip in pre-heater system control unit wiring harness in 4 places • Tighten 3x bolts • Clip in earth cable
  5. 13. Install battery • Fasten battery bracket – Tighten bolt
  6. 14. Attach positive connection to battery • Tighten nut
  7. 15. Attach fuse holder to battery • Clip in fuse holder • Attach bracket to positive connection – Tighten bolt • Close cover
  8. 16. Install turbocharger
