Replace Coolant Pipe Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground connection from ground terminal – Undo nut
3. 3. Raise vehicle by its full height
4. 4. Place collecting basin underneath.
5. 5. Drain coolant • Place collecting basin underneath. • Push hose (2) onto connection • Open drain bolt (1)

6. 6. Lower vehicle by its full height
7. 7. Detach coolant feed hose from coolant pipe • Release clamp
8. 8. Remove coolant pipe (1) between thermostat housing and oil filter housing (3) • Unscrew 2x bolts (2) • Pull from oil filter housing

Note. The diagram shows the coolant pipe with the exhaust manifold removed for greater clarity

Install

9. 9. Clean sealing surface • Oil filter housing • Thermostat housing
10. 10. Install thermostat housing coolant pipe to oil filter housing • Use 2x new seal • Push into oil filter housing • Tighten 2x bolt 8 Nm
11. 11. Attach coolant feed hose to coolant pipe • Fasten clamp
12. 12. Connect battery • Attach ground connection to ground terminal – Tighten nut
13. 13. Fill and bleed cooling system
14. 14. Program volatile memories
15. 15. Close bonnet
