Procedure for Bleeding the Engine Cooling System Opel Corsa D

Cooling System 3 illustrations ~154 words

The Corsa-D features a bleed screw on the radiator for bleeding the engine cooling system.

On petrol engine variants Z 10 XEP, Z 12 XEP and Z 14 XEP, the bleed screw is located on the top of the radiator (1).

On the Z 14 XEP petrol engine with automatic transmission, there is an additional bleed screw (1) on the lower coolant hose.

On engine variants Z 13 DTH, Z 13 DTJ, Z 17 DTR and Z 16 LER, the bleed screw is located on the right-hand side of the radiator (1).

• Service: When carrying out any work on the cooling system, the cooling system must be bled using the bleed screw (or using the two screws in the case of the Z 14 XEP engine with automatic transmission).

To bleed the cooling system sufficiently, the procedure described in the service literature must be followed exactly.
